A couple of weeks ago, my engine started bogging really bad. It would idle just fine, but under a load it just would pull, and it barely ran. Well, under the suggestion of a couple of folks here, I changed the power valve to a 4.5, and I replaced the spark plugs (the old ones were fouled out, even though they were only about a month old).
Well for a couple weeks it's been running great! But coming home today, it started bogging again, then it just got real bad real quick, and I had to pull to the side of the road and have it towed home. When I try to start it now, the starter turns it over, but there is no trace of it even trying to start. What could have gone wrong that it went bad so fast? I haven't had time to pull a plug yet, so don't know the condition of the plugs that are in it now.
Any suggestions? Could it be fuel pump? Electronic module? Should I throw away the holley carb and get an Edelbrock? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
