![]() im a poor college student who spends every dollar i can get on my 94 cobra. that being said, i dont know what i should do next with the money ill get from working over the summer (2-3k). First i am not comfortable doing more complex work on my car myself, like i installed my k&n and my pullies, but i dont think i would want to do anything much harder than that. I have done 3.73 gear, headers, x-pipe, flowmaster cat back, rear upper and lower control arms, subframe connectors, pullies, k&n, and a shifter. so in conclusion, what do you think i should add for about $2000, parts and install.
possibes: port and pollish intake (anyone know a good place for this?) computer mod (heard its not a good idea to get this if i might go with a charger) drag rads (opinions on places to order these?) PS i would welcome any other options too, please be specific in places to order parts (include website, or phone num or something) THANKS Last edited by mak375; 04-03-2003 at 08:56 PM.. |

![]() Sorry man it looks like you have pretty much done all of the easy stuff.
If I were you I would go with a cam next. Find a friend that knows what he is doing and slap in a cam. Also an ECU upgrade would be a good idea and its easy to do. Later,

![]() About the only other real easy bolt-on would be a C&L mass air meter & inlet pipe. Only drawback is that you will have to give up your K&N b/c the C&L kit comes w/ a cone style.
You could also add a nitrous kit. Or, for $2K, get some heads and a mild cam. |

![]() i have cold air induct too, i forgot to mention.
i know i have most of the easy bolt ons done, thats why i need help. I am not opposed to having some of the more difficult things done by a shop, but i just need to keep that added into the total cost. how much do C&L's run, what about a TB? ECU upgrade? how much do those cost and do you know of any places that sell them?

![]() Here's what I would do:
- Save up a little more money and do the whole heads/cam/roller rockers/intake thing in one shot. After this your car will feel like it has a whole new motor in it! ![]() Do some searching on this site and you'll find some good threads on H/C/I combos that work well together. Good luck, E

![]() the only problem with saving is i only work during the summers, so i would have to wait for an entire year before i can save any more. also ive been trying to stay away form some of the engine mods.
How about NOS? how much would be a good amount to get, that is also EXTREMELY safe? how much would that cost? |
