![]() I went to my ford dealer adn he couldnt find a part number for the gear for 3.73 and my 225/50 R16 tires... I was wondering if anyone here knew either a) the color b) tooth count or c) the FORD part number

![]() 89 used a 7 tooth drive gear. For 3.73, you need a 21 tooth driven gear. I find that dealers are completely useless if something is not stock, and find it easier to know what I need instead of having them look it up. The chart is right in my FRPP catalog, he should have no problem finding it in his books. But anyway, if a 5 speed, red gear part #C4OZ-A. If it's an auto, purple, part #D0OZ-B.
