Default Engine lays down

OK here goes I have a 302 crate motor with Cobra intake,65mm TB,70mm MAF,MSD coil,Pro-Billet distributer,6al box, retard box,Powerdyne supercharger with 6lb pulley,275 lph fuel pump with adjustible pressure,Cobra computer, and 24lb injecters. The car ran great untill 2 weeks ago when the temp went up a little and stayed there so i swapped the T-stat from a 180 to a 160. It started laying over at half to full acceleration but it idles great. I have replaced cap, rotor, wires, new 180 T-stat, cleaned the MAF, exchanged the maf with the one from my 93 Mustang Cobra. I even routed around the 6al box. Still does it can someone help please OH the engine is in a FFR Cobra kit. It's killing me that I can't drive it. I would be grateful for any info.

Thanx

I had the sensors checked out and no faults. The sidepipes are pumping out plenty of sound so I dont think they are plugged. I changed the fuel filter also. It runs great at idle and slow acceleration. Gawd I dont want to put a potatoe on it LOL

I would run a compression test, just for reference.

Take care,

sound doesnt indicated flow what type of exhaust are you running and how old is it compared to the motor.

you can loosen the header bolts or colector bolts and see if it doesnt drop off if this helps you will have to drop the exhaust to check it properly. i once had a peice of muffler brake off in such a way that it would only bend inside the muffler and restrick flow under hard acceleration. my dad finally guessed it was something inside and we cut it open and there was this piece of flexible muffler just infront of the outlet tube. (only took us 2 months to find it. the car sounded healthy the whole time .)
