Question Engine misses and jerks around 1000-2000 rpms

Hello everyone.
Ive been having this lil problem with my old 87GT. The motor SOMETIMES jerks and pulls around 1000-2000 rpms cool, warm or hot. It feels as if is pinging or something similar to that hm. The motor has about 190k miles, its super strong, it does not burn or leaks oil. The only code i got so far is EGR.

has anyone experienced this before? It has good wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, fuel regulator, pump, etc. Can we blame the 10 month old Bosch 4 way platinum spark plugs?

i dont know how much an EGR sensor can affect idle at any temp.

Your problem is most likely the EGR then. It should not be spiting exaust gases into the mixture until the rpms climb and that could cause the engine to fall on its face. Unplug the vacuum line and the electrical connector and then drive around see if you still have the problem. The EGR valve is located on the spacer between the throttle body and your intake.
