I know this will sound compleatly retarted, but if I rebuild a engine do I need to have the crank re-ground, what do I have to do to the rods.

It depends on the condition of your crank and rods. It's likely that they will just need to polish it up a little. If it's beyond specs too far, they may have to regrind it to fit a diferent size bearing.
The rods are the same. Also, you'll want to replace the rod bolts with ARP bolts. --nathan ------------------ --silver_pilate '91 GT, Built 306, Wolverine 1087 cam, ported Windsor Jr. Irons, and all the goodies...click the link to the left to see a full list of my mods...
