Angry engine running like crap.... help!

i realize that this is a mstang site and my question is about a ranger, but i just put a 92 5.0L H.O. in and i have a problem. it runs great until it warms up, then pops and bogs down. if i trip the fuel pump shut-off, hit the key, reset the shut-off, and hit the key, it starts. it does not run very well and before i realized i could do this to get it started, it would not. is it getting too much fuel? what would cause this? help help help

The first thing you should do is pull the codes from the computer using a code reader. Such behavior is usually caused by a bad sensor or something and the computer can generally tell you what it is.
