Post engine swap

i'm seriously concidering puting a v-8 in my 95 v-6 mustang. i thought about trying to supe up the v-6 but decided that i really wanted a v-8. i was thinking about carburating a 5.0 and dropping it in becuase i figured it be easier and cheaper, but i still have very little knowledge on what whould be involved in the swap. please tell what this will take and whether or not its a good idea to use a carburated engine. thanks.
