Default Epec?

Friend of mine has an EPEC system that he's looking to get rid of, if anyone is interested.

I downloaded the software, and the manual. WOW! That thing does ALOT of stuff! Anyone using one of these? He wants to go to an SCT, but from what I see so far, the EPEC is just as good.

Since I'm a carb guy, and all this is Greek to me, looking for some advice from you guys.

THANKS!!

EPEC is a hunk of junk. 50% of them that I've seen/used do nothing at all. The EPEC was a very early attempt at a piggy back system that was never perfected....or even close. Ditch the EPEC and have a chip burned for it. If he really wants to have the programming control himself then I'd suggest TwEECer RS or SCT Pro Racer Package.

Just the man I was hoping to hear from! LOL Thanks Jeff!

Right now, instead of spending the $$$ to rent a dyno and let ME figure out the EPEC, guys that own the dyno basically told him he's throwing good money after bad, and to just use the dyno renatl ching towards a real system. He bought the EPEC when he lived in Hawaii, and really had no other choice. He's not been happy with it. I'll relay the info, and let ya know what we're up to.

Thanks again man!
