![]() I ran the codes on my 89gt today. It resulted in a couple of codes.
KOEO Codes - 15 PROM Failure Memory Codes - 14 Ignition pickup circuit failure. Does anbody know what these codes mean? Any help would be apreciated. |

![]() 1) Check battery voltage, and confirm it's at least 10.5 volts.
2) Disconnect the 60 pin connector at the ECM. 3) Set your multimeter to the 20 vdc scale, and connect the positive test lead to pin #1, and the negative test lead to pin #40 or #60, and turn the key to the ON (RUN) position (NOT the start position), and check the voltage reading. If the reading is less than 10.5 volts, check the wire going to pin #1 for damage, and repair it. If the reading is 10.5 volts or above, replace the ECM.
