Red face explorer intake???

is the explorer intake better than the croba?
i want to get gt40p heads with explorer or cobra intake which one should i get and which one is harder to put on?
thanks for any help given.

No. The cobra is a better intake, especially with the better flowing heads. The explorer is only a little better than the stocker.

STOCK LX - Oh so wrong, buddy, where ya gettin' your info from? Certainly not first-hand, apparently. The Explorer phenomena has been known for quite some time now... they're internally identical.

The only difference is that the explorer intake has a different external cast. other wise idenical!!!

The explorer flows about 1cfm less than the cobra, and the cobra is about 10 less than a GT-40. With the explorer, you have to tap the egr.

It is a direct bolt on for 94-95, nothinh needed exept an elbow and to plug a few vaccume ports...
