Factory Five or Mac
Who uses either of these? Any stories to tell? I'm all ears...deciding which to get vs. boxing the stock ones up. Thanks

Go witht he MAC upper & lowers. I have had them on my car for a year now, and i love them. They have greasable polyeurethene bushings...which i never grease...and they fit like a charm. It was winter when I bought them, so I didn't want to put them in myself, so I had a guy I know at a shop do it for like $40 and he said they were the best fitting uppers & lowers that he had ever installed. Also, all of my rear-end hop was eliminated, and my car squatted straight to the ground, instead of to the side like before. In my opinion, these are the way to go. I have also heard bad things about the Factory Five ones. GO WITH THE MAC'S!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah that seems to be the way most people including myself are leaning-found them for $209 in a mag so...can't beat that price for uppers and lowers.

StangNet now has their own performance auto parts. I just picked up some SN lower control arms. They have poly bushing on one end and spherical bearing on the other and they are only $169! That price is unbeatable. BTW, the LCA's look just like Maximum Motorsports but are way cheaper.
I know a guy that runs the Mac's here and he likes them. You could get the SN LCA's and some FMS heavy duty uppers for $60 and I bet it would be better than the Mac's for not much more money. ------------------ 1991 Mustang GT - Cobra Intake, FMS 65mm TB, C&L 73mm MAF, GT-40P heads, Crane 2031 cam, Crane 1.7rr, Built AOD, Art Carr 2400 non-lockup converter, Transgo shift kit, BBK chrome cold air, FMS 'P' headers, Pacesetter off-road H, BBK aluminum pulleys, 2-C Flows w/ dumps, 4.10's, Steeda STB, for now... I've got the MACs with the Adjustable uppers, and the lowers. They're a good quality piece (especially for MAC), and well worth it.
