Question falcon engine swap

Hey guys I've built a few 5.0's around my neighborhood and now I have a friend of mine that has a Ford falcon with a 6 cylinder but wants to put a stock 5.0 on it. I can't find a web site for information about swaping the V8 into it. If you guys can help me will very great Also I was thinking of finding a complete EFI eng, trans and computer system and put it in the falcon or will it be easier on carb? Thanks for ur help guys

I'n kind of thinking about a similar swap, there;s a 62 Falcon 2dr for sale by my apartment, they want around $3000 but I'm sure they'd drop a little. Its a slant 6 (i think) but the body is good. It just suck that I don't have a garage cause there's a lot I'd want to do to it if I got it (body work/paint, rearend/engine/trans swap, interior, etc.) so it probably wouldn't be too good of an idea yet. Any info about how tight a 302/351 would be to fit along with a 5 speed and an 8.8 rear???????

302-351 isnt tight at all but i think there might be a problem with the six k member ,

my friends was a 289 and we put a clevland in it no real problems but we did engine trans driveshaft and rear end in a long weekend.

Default K frame??

'Er, early Falcons, Comets, and Mustangs don't have "K frames".

So could a smallblock go in a falcon that originally came w/ a 6 cylinder? Would it need a different k-member/motor plates, etc????
