figured out oil leak after 3 years!!Please read
OK, i went to get an oil change today and i finally figured out where the leak was coming from. If you look into my engine, on the left side corner of the head, it leaks when you put in oil. Its weird cuz if you do it the conventional way through bottles, theres no pressure which throws the oil, while the way they do at at my oil shop there is pressure because it comes through a high powered hose which causes it to leak a little.
So, they usually put in a 1/4 of a quart to 1/2 quart more to solve this problem. Now heres the problem. Why is it leaking out of there? What could the problem be? I will have pics soon to show you exactly where the problem is coming from. Its right near where you deposit the oil, on the left side corner closest to us when you look into the engine. Please help. ------------------ 1990 GT Vortech S-trim 10-12psi 373s, fms upper and lower control arms hurst shifter, mac offroad h pipe, warlock catback exhaust,c&l 73mm mass air, 30lb injectors, mac unequal length headers, trex inline pump, msd btm |
