Default Finally got my new engine in today!!

The day has finally come when I had a chance to put my new engine in today.
I just set it in the car so everything still needs hooked up and attached before it's ready to fire up yet.
I also still need all the nickle and dime stuff like: oil, tranny fluid, plugs, antifreeze and header gaskets.
That little bit right there is going to add up quick!!
That's ok because I'm still way ahead of my schedule I set last year. My goal was top have it up and running by summer of 2004
It "should" be finished by the end of the month

I take it your referring to the 351 in your sig? yea the oil, gaskets, numerous trips to the parts store can add up for sure, i remember just doing heads was pretty time consuming, but taking my time resulted in a smooth job even painted my headers with some high heat ceramic, it actually has stayed on till this day.

Your combo, with 4.30 gear 3000 stall and 28 inch slick would be one fast mofo, but all looks streetable now, good luck.

Hurry up man !! I'm almost as anxious as you are to hear about the results because my combo is so similar to yours, but this one is my son's and he keeps spending all the hot rod funds on girls and crap, so God knows when i'll ever get to finish it !

Uh Oh....you better remind your son that money amd women are a bad combo. You might as well go ahead and finish it yourself if he as already started down that path........LOL

Seriously though, I didn't forget about you because I know you want to hear all about how it sounds and runs. I was planning on dropping you a PM as soon as I fire it up.
I'll keep you posted.
