IT F'ING RUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After work I checked the firing order....it was good (I have ford racing wires and they are numbered), then I checked the wires at the plugs....oops. #7 and 8 were switched. Swithed them and she started. She runs great at 1500 plus.....but won't idle, it surges about 500 and quits. I don't have the right mass air housing (ordered the 24# a month ago) is that causing it not to idle???? While it is was running I unhooked the mass air meter and she idled like a dream.....is that bad?? I'd like to thank everybody who has helped me with advice....and now I guess I can add my list of goodies.

try disconnecting the batter for 10 minutes to reset the computer.
