I understand the concern about opening up the heads any more but when you port match them you don't really have to take out a ton of material to get them to work. If you can make the spacer idea work go for it but I would think port matching the heads would be better. With 6# of boost you are turning awesome times, with a T trim and 12# of boost it may put you in the low 10's high 9's!
