Talking Flowmaster Cat Back - Force II or American Thunder?

Well, Ive been all around the exhaust spectrum the last couple weeks, but I think Ive finally decided on a Flowmaster cat back, but which one? I dont want an extremely loud one, but want you to be able to hear it if I drive by. I also dont want to have to scream to hear somebody talking inside, so which do you think would be better for me? I had a single in/dual out original 40 series turned down on my 02 GMC and it got pretty annoying, but I figured having 2 mufflers and them exiting in the back it wouldnt be as loud in the Mustang. What do yall think?

Will

ps - also, does anybody have the Force II system? how loud is it compared w/ the factory system, or even a magnaflow system? also, ill be leaving my factory H and manifolds on for now, so keep that in mind as far as noise levels go! Thanks in advance for the help.

You can hear what they all sound like, and make your own decision. Personally, I prefer the magnapaks.

yeah, ive listened to a bunch of those clips, but just felt like as far as loudness goes, you cant tell really. I mean you have no idea as to how far away the recording device was from the car and so on, so I just thought id ask for people opinions on it. I think I will go w/ the American Thunder system, as my opinion of loud is probly not the same as most peoples!

that's my concern too, since I'm going with packs and a prochamber. It sounds sweet, but I dont' know how loud it really will be, vs my friends with a catted pipe.

I couldn't tell you if any of the flowmaster cars I've heard were american thunder or not, I just can tell they've got flows....

The 40 series Flows (2 chambers) resonate bad inside the cabin, but that is what makes sound the way they do. They are fine with cats, but w/o cats they can get annoying if you aren't a 16 year old kid. If you plan on removing your cats down the road, go with the 3 chambers (force II.)

I had the force II kit on my 95 and loved it. It sounded mean as hell..ppl knew my car. I have a magna flow on my 98 and really like it. The magna flow sounds a bit more tuned and the flowmaste sounds a little more rough.
