If you can wait about a week or so, I should be able to give you better feedback. This weekend I am installing an aluminum Fidanza flywheel that weighs just over 11 lbs. Along with the new flywheel will be a King Cobra clutch, pressure plate and Tremec 3550.

The lighter flywheel will allow for quicker engine revs, but I will also lose lower rpm torque. In my situation, I think the lighter flywheel is best because I hardly ever drive my Stang, I have horrible 60' times on my drag radials and I don't really need all of the torque at low rpms. I am really starting to think that I have no idea how to launch my car since I my best ever 60' was a 2.06! I should definately be in the 12's on drag radials by now - hopefully this new flywheel will help.

Good luck,
E
