Question Fidanza Flywheel Dowel Pins

ITS THE WEEKEND AND I WAS ALL SET TO INSTALL MY NEW CENTERFORCE DUEL FRICTION CLUTCH ,FIDANZA ALUMINUM FLYWHEEL, AND FORD RACING ALUMINUM DRIVE SHAFT. MY PROBLEMS STARTED AFTER TRYING TO LOSSEN THE CLUTCH CABLE ,I BROKE THE CABLE IN TWO ,AFTER FINDING A REPLACEMENT I REMOVED THE REST OF THE TRANNY AND DISCOVERED THE CLUTCH FORK AND PIVOT BALL NEEDED REPLACED AS WELL. ALL WAS WELL AFTER FINDING A FORD DEALER ON A SATURDAY THAT ACTUALLY HAD THE PARTS I NEEDED.THEN CAME TIME TO CLEAN EVERYTHING UP GOOD AND GET THIS THING BACK ON THE ROAD WHERE IT BELONGS.REINSTALLING QUICKLY CAME TO A SCREECHING HALT AFTER DISCOVERING THE DOWEL PINS FROM MY STOCK FLYWHEEL WERE LARGER THAN THE DOWEL HOLES IN THE NEW FLYWHEEL. NOW IS WHERE ALL YOU READERS COM IN ,DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE OLDER FORDS USE A SMALLER DOWEL PIN? OF COARSE THE MANUFACTURE IS CLOSED ON THE WEEKEND SO THEY ARE NO HELP!
THE REASON FOR THIS QUESTION IS THAT THE FLYWHEEL HAS AN INTERCHANGEABLE WEIGHT SO IT COULD BE USED ON AN OLDER 302
