Focus V8 Swap
Has anyone ever heard of such a swap? I thought it would be a neat idea, I have tons of 5.0 parts lying around and a focus sitting there. If anyone has any info or web sites, ect.. post em up!

i forget what magazine i saw it in but they make a kit which is completely bolt in so anyone can do it without fabricating anything. Id just see what you can find on the net about it. Would definately be fun to drive and suprise the honda boys.

I think this month's issue of Mustangs & Fast Fords had a teenie article on one...if not check this site out:
http://www.ford-v8-focus.com/ I've seen a few small articles on this swap but haven't really heard much. The numbers didn't really impress me for the amount of work...would be a great sleeper though. |

I had seen a five liter focus down at Norwalk OH Fun Ford Weekend last year. Talk about a lot of work. I attached a pic of it. Good luck with that project.

I seen this last year!
I saw this swap last year at Hot Import Nights in Orlando Florida...the guy had a yellow ford focus with a 302 in it...it was INSANE!!! probably the craziest thing I have ever seen...he said there was a kit for the motor to bolt right in! don't know where you'd get it.....but it looks awesome!
