Follow up to cam swap question - cam gurus needed
Would I gain enough low end torque and not lose alot of high end power by swapping out the F303 (.512/.512 226/226) for a 1) Comp Cam Xtreme Energy (.509/.512 224/230) or
2) .493/.500 220/226 ??? The F303 is rated at about 3000-7000 rpms and the the comp cams are 1) 1600-5800 and 2) 1300-5600 range. I'm thinking they'd be better for low end, but might be a little weak up top. I'm gonna be spraying a 125-150 shot next year, and want something that'll kicka$$ w/ the juice too. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.
