Question Ford Newbie Questions

when swapping motors from an 87gt to a 89lx , do i need to swap computers
as well? will the 87 motor hook up and run fine using the 89 computer?also
i am changing this motor to a manual transmission, do i have to have the
crank machined to accept a pilot bearring for a manual tranny? is there any
difference between the computer on an automatic and one on a manual(will an automatic computer work with a manual)? thanks
