Found rust under the battery tray.
 

This last weekend when I removed the battery tray on the garage queen I found some rust underneth on the fender over the frame. Two spots about 1-1/2 to 2" about 3 to 4" from each other. What would be the best way to deal with this. I was thinking maybe sandblasting and welding a plate over it, or at least cleaning it up with a wire brush on a electric drill. Are there any better ideas?

Well, however you clean it up without cutting it out, after you finish, make sure you paint over it with primer and paint (I guess you could use some rust inhibitor b4 you primer it)..... In any case, now is better than later.
