Default C-4 Rebuild or AOD rebuild for V8 302

Basically I have 2 transmissions C-4 cruise o matic(original), and a 302FI and AOD from a 88 tbird. I'm rebuilding the 302FI and hoping to get about 350-425 hp all motor and a 2 stage 300 shot total and when done hope to have 650hp+. I cant fiqure out which to use. I got a ford 9" with 4.56 w/detriot lockers. Which would hold horsepower and torque best without blowning. I may hook up my 12 psi charger up to.

Let me know?

Ps I dont know why it came up twice on forum.

Actually Yes I am. Mostly on the street and sometimes at the track. I estimate to do 9's or 10's or betters in 1/4 mi. That and I want to blown the doors off every ricer out there on the street hehe. I just glad that your not a cop up here hehe.
Yes to answer your question. I will be driving on the street most of the time and going to car shows. Which do you think.
The transmissions will be built be my friend that works at Performance Automatic in Gathersburg, md. Heavy duty clutches and all. He has done all my transmissions in all my cars even my wifes minivan. I have had only one blown that was in my 51 ford f1 p-up 1298rwhp.

I voted, but the one I voted for will need a lot of money put in it to make it hold up to that power. I would put a Lentech valve body in it.

If it were my car I would buy a "Performance Automatic AOD" because of the power you are going to be making.

I have a 347 stroker with a professionally built AOD, and there is nothing like it.

The trans shop(performance automatic) said it would cost between $2000. and $3000. depending on which trans they did. They said the trans should be able to hold roughly between 800hp and 1200hp. I had them build one for my t-bird and it can hold 400 to 600hp I paid $2259. inc. installation. But I wont have pay for installion this time. When I have it built I will have the best done so I dont have to worry about it blowning. I probably going to have at least 5 or 6k in engine or so bored and all. And Jester not putting a stick in.
