Front End Knock?!?!
Something seems to be up with teh front end on my 88. When you turn the wheel from lock to lock it makes a somewhat loud knock every once in a while. Its really noticable when your driving around slowly like pulling out of the garage or in a parking lot. Ive checked the front end bearings and they are good and tight. I greased up the tie rod ends, and it still does it. I crawled under the car while someone turned the wheel and i couldnt see anything binding or hitting when the sound occured. I dont know what else it could be. Im thinking about getting a front end bushing kit. Does anyone know what it could be? Any and all help will be appreciated.

Does it do it in the same steering wheel position all the time? It could be your rack has a bad spot in it.

It seems to do it when you turn the other way when the wheel is cranked. Like if its all the way to the right and you turn left. Since the knock seems kinda bad i figured you might be able to feel it when it does it so i felt around under the car when it did it and that didnt seem to help me figure it out. When the car is just standing still and you turn the wheel from lock to lock you can see the control arm move a bit but i assumed that that was just normal. Please if anyone can help it will same me some money i can use to get the car goin a little bit faster.
