Shouldn't rub if you have the right sway bar. No experience with fox bodies, so take that with a "grain of salt".

only problem i had, was the fl-1a oil filter rubbing my swaybar, i found out my car had an oil cooler cuz it was a ssp car, I went to a smaller filter, then finally pulled the swaybar off, thats wht i suggest you do, however, take it easy on hard corners.

same thing happened to me back in 99', I used a short filter for a while, then pulled the swaybar off and never looked back. That was 50,000miles ago :)

storms, No strut brace for me, i dont like em in my way, under the hood.
I did however make it a point to weld in subframe connectors in, before i tossed the swaybar to the scrapyard, I have skinnies up front anyway:D so i dont need to turn corners too fast.
The handling changed, but i think it could still corner somewhat decent enough for normal safe driving, and on the dragstrip who cares.
If you drive your car everyday i would consider trying to make a swaybar work. My car is now, a non daily driver, but i did drive it without front swaybar for about a year.

the 4 cyl. and V8 models have different brackets for the sway bars. the V8 brackets lower the sway bar farther away from the oil pan, so i'm guessing you reused the 4cyl. bracket and used the V8 sway bar and bushings.
