Post INSTALLED EECTUNER- NEW BEST TIME!!!!!!!!

Well I installed my EEC Tuner on friday and on saturday I went to the track for a full day of test and tune. All I changed was my fan settings, idle, WOT activation voltage, WOT fuel settings, tip in and retard to get rid of the slow shifts found in 94-95's. Well I am extremely happy with the results. The weather was the worst I ever raced in. It was 93* with 100% humidity, yet I still ran a new best. I managed a:
ET: 13.16
MPH: 106.03!!!
60': 1.96

With a cooler night and a little more off the line, I think the car will run 12's the way she is now! My original goal was 105mph, but now... the sky is the limit!

I can't wait to learn more about the EEC TUNER to get even more out of it. Anyone have one here with a T4MO computer, if so would you mind emailing me some ideas of things to try at killercanary@hotmail.com

JFYI- the car is a 95GT convertible 5 speed that weighs in at nearly 3700lbs with me, and the track's elevation is right around 1250 feet.

Thumbs up

I got it from shiftmaster. Here's their web address: http://www.eec-tuner.com. I use it with a laptop, but it comes with a power adapter so you can hook it up in your house and download your programs. Its pretty easy to use, you just type in your settings (this is the hardest part), hit download with the key forward, then turn the key off then on again for about 2 seconds, and then your program is uploaded. This thing is amazing!

Congrats man. Wish i could have been there to see that run and see you after it. If you would use your dads ET streets you would see those 12's.

Nice run! Wait til you get some nice weather and sticky tires, that should drop you solidly into the 12s.

Were you in Ebensburg Sunday around 3:30pm or so? I was coming through there for work and thought I saw a yellow convertable but by the time I got up to the stop sign the car was too far away to see.

I can't wait for a nice cool night, I really want to be able to say I have a legitamate 12 second car.

Dan- are you going to Keystone this week? I'll probably be there, but I don't plan on running.

John- It was probably me you saw, I now live in Ebensburgh with my wife. We were out and about cruising around.
