Default Fuel Filter

Does it matter which way a fuel filter is pointing? I just installed a new one on my Passport. I think it is a standard in most fuel filters for the round side to point to flow towards the engine.

Yes, it matters. Fuel filters are designed for the fluid to flow in one direction. They are usually marked with either an in and out arrow, or the words "in" and "out".

Take care,
