|  fuel gauge went dead..fuel sender? The fuel gauge on my 86 went dead. I check the wires and Im getting no signal to the gauge. The wiring schematics has a fuel sending unit, but does anyone know where it is? On the tank perhaps? any help is appreciated. |

| If there's no power to your gauge then the sender is most likely the culprit.
