Default fuel line question

Here it goes......Which line is the feed line and which one is the return line on the fuel rail? I'm pretty sure the front line is the feed, but I just want to be sure. I'm installing a fuel line cooler and it looks like it will be easier to install under the hood rather than under the car.
Thanks
