Fuel lines w/electric pump and carb
I'm running the stock in tank pump for my 351 carb swap. I notice that the fuel lines have a return line. I have no use for it should I just plug it up? Or what?

You will want to run that return line for one major reson, it keeps the pump cooler thus preventing over heating your pump and destroying it. The best way to go about this is to get the mallory 4 port adj., return style regulator. This regulator is the only one that I know that will drop the fuel pressure from the high pressur pump to th 7-8 psi that you carb will need. Also I speak from experince I have a 89 gt that is carborated and im running that regulator with the 140 comp pump and a demond carb.
On of my freinds has the stock pump with the same regulator with no problems. I hope this helps and good luck. |
