Fuel pressure for NOS

I just hooked up my wet 50 shot of NOS and I had to bypass my 35psi hobbs switch to get it to work. My electric fuel pressure gauge also only reads about 33psi. I have a 155lph in the tank shouldn't my psi be higher then this. should I get a new regulator or an adjustable one.
Thanks

Re: Fuel pressure for NOS

When you say 33 psi is that at an idle or at wide open throttle.

If you are at wide open throttle your psi should be 38 psi or so.

It could be that the fuel solenoid is robbing too much fuel from your main line.

I would go ahead and drop a 255lph pump before you break something.

I'm thinkin of buying a aftermarket fuel regulator and turning it up. This will bring more fuel into the system correct.
Also if my PSI is dropping below 35psi under full thottle does this mean the fuel pump is not keeping up.

YES!!!!

I would not even drive it anymore till you fix it cause you got to be running really lean if you are running the stock 19# injectors.

Normally a 155lph pump would be plenty for a wet system, your pump must be failing or you have a clogged fuel filter.

I would replace both immediately.
