Post Which fuel pressure regulator to buy?

What fpr should I buy? I have heard good things about the Kirban and Aeromotive. Where can I find a good deal on one? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason

I like the Aeromotive. $99, but it's a quality billet aluminum FPR. I've not heard good things about the Holley. I bought a Crane first - POS never worked right, and by the time I figured out what was wrong, PAW wouldn't take it back.

Yeah I have the crane steel one now. When I put my motor together for the first time it leaked when I first started it. Now when I go to start it the fuel pressure initializes and then goes back to zero.

I think the diaphram is bad. I heard if the diaphram is bad it will bleed back. It sucks to crank my car over like an old POS before it starts. I have a new fuel pump and I am worried about burning it out with it pumping harder.

Thanks, anyone else.

look at my sig for what not to buy..i am running one now cuz they keep sending me new ones..or else i wouldnt..i was told to stay away from older models of billet aluminum cuz the entire peice was not made out of it and as it got heated up it would change fp on ya..i know MAC will be making a updated one that will do this..but for now i think ive heard all good things about Kirbin, vortech, and thier's one other one i cant think of the name in Jegs for $100 that looks pretty trick and it reacts to boost like an FMU with a 1:1 ratio..
