Fuel pump & regulator question

I think my stock fuel pump is on its way out. I have lost a lot of top end, and it makes a loud noise all the time. I am going to put in a larger pump, but if I do this will I also need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? I was thinking about a 155 lph pump. What do you guys think?

id get a FP regualtor and gauge and a 190 pump...might want it a little biger just in case you need it later for a power adder or something...would hate to buy a 155 and have to buy another Fuel pump later on

When you replace the stock pump with a larger one, can you just do the swap or do you need anything else? The reason I'm asking is a friend of mine will sell me his 155 lph pump for dirt cheap, and I'd like to put it in this week.
