Post Is it fuel pump upgrade time???

For some reason every time a take a sharp corner,in my '88GT, at more than 40mph or a highway off ramp especially, the car either sputters or stalls. I will start right back up again but it's frustrating now!
If a take an interstate off ramp, I can almost guarantee the car will stall. Is this a sign of a potential fuel pump problem? It doesn't matter how much fuel is in the tank either. Is it upgrade time??

Check the bowl levels??? This is my '88GT and it doesn't have a carb. Unless there are bowls somewhere on the fuelie cars.
If there, is then where are they and how do I check them?
