Fuel Shutting off?? HELP!!!

OK....it never ends...I just recently started experiencing a problem. My car will just shut down. It is fuel related, because you can smell it back by the tank. First time this happenes, I reset the saftey switch in the back, it started right up. Happened 2 more times, I reset it 2 more times. I replaced the switch, and it is still doing it, but now the switch won't fix the problem....coincidence? Maybe....more like LIKELY.

Then my car backfired SUPER hard and a puff of black smoke came out...possibly from trying to start it and dumping fuel into the cylinder? It backfired under NO acceleration....does anyone think this hurt my motor? No boost, no throttle, just BOOM! Ran fine after that though.

Any suggestions with this fuel problem? All vitals are good....FP, is there (50 psi wvo as set by the dyno tuner....too high? IT did this before I reset the pressure though) Oil pressure is good, Voltage good, the car turns, just no fuel. Any help is appreciated...THANKS!!
