Fuel System for Nitrous Use??

I am seriously considering purchasing the NOS stage 1 system for my pony(75hp shot), but I am afraid my stock fuel system won't handle it given my current mods of 6037's edelbrocks and a motorsport e-cam. Would it be OK to run the 75 shot with 19lb injectors and the stock 88lb/hr fuel pump or do I need to upgrade?? I am on a tight budget.

I've ran a 75 shot before on the stock pump, but that was with nothing else done to the car. With your mods and you said your on a budget, I wouldn't chance it. If you do, then you might spend more money resurfacing your heads and adding new headgaskets.

You NEED a new pump. Even a new stock 88 pump is only good for around 275 hp anyway.

Get a 255 and you will have no worries. That is what I run with a built motor, 150 shot, and no other added fuel pump.

Defintely get a new pump!! 255 would be the best since it's in there for future mods. I'm saving up so I can get one (got a 190 in it now, but its being pushed too hard with my mods and a 125 shot).
