fuel pump questions?
Will a fuel pump hum and sound like it's working when it's not? My car won't start! Thought it was a fuel pump relay problem,but it's not looking to be that easy!

To answer your question, yes, the pump can be bad even if you can still hear it. It can also be a crack in the in-tank tube, so that the pump can't build up pressure, the engine won't start, but the pump makes noise.
