Question Fuel System Questions

I needed some information on how to run my fuel system, I converted the car to use a carb. a 750 cfm edelbrock, now, can I use the stock fuel pump and where can I get a fuel pressure regulator that can handle the stock pump and a regulator that will set it at 5 p.s.i.?

You need a fuel pump designed for carburated engines.

I believe most people run an inline low pressure high volume pump when swapping to a carb.

I know a hokey way of doing this, but I won;t say unless you really want to know. Oh yeah...it is REALLY hokey, but it worked as a bandaid fix until my real fuel system arrived.

Red pump? Are you serious????

Beatin the SHYT outta that $30 regulator??? Just exactly what are you smokin, and can I get some? LOL

Just exactly how hard do you think that regulator is gonna work to take 70 PSI down to FOUR PSI? I wouldn't trust that thing anymore than a dude in a female prison with a handful of pardons.

Dude, you are SOOOOOO on the wrong path here. I'm gonna tell you four words that you need to take to heart.

Ya ready?
