Fuel Tank Question
Finally got my fuel pump in on Saturday afternoon. The genius at the Ford dealer ordered me the wrong fuel line clip. Luckily, a local autoparts store had one in stock. Anyway, I noticed that in the tank, where the pump sits, there is a "inner tank" or whatever its called. This "inner tank" is spot welded to the tank. Well it seems that the weld has broken and this inner tank is loose. I actually hear it moving when I hit a bump. Have any of you encountered this before?? I put everything back together 'cause I needed my car for today. Do you think I could just take my tank somewhere to have this repaired. How much would a new or used tank be??

Get a fuel cell in the trunk! No i'm kidding, but it would be a nice addition, yes get a new one right away, don't know if all of that moving around in there could cause a spark but man if it did...
