You've got a timing belt? If you've got a Jesel Belt Drive, keep it. If that was a typo, read on.

Gear drive rocks. It ensures a precise relationship between the pistons and the valves. Edlebrock has a set (Accu-Drive, part #7893) that sells for less than $225, and fits underneath your stock timing cover. Very cool deal.

Take care

Pete Jackson also makes one that is pretty good. My friend has one on a n/a 460 Ford Pulling truck with straight UP open headers and you can here the gear drive above the headers when your sitting in the truck. Its freakin awesome. I would have to agree with PKRWUD though, If you have a Jesel Keep it.

I just have stock. "TYPO"

I am thinking of Gear Drive though.

Heard a Late model GM this past weekend with it and it did sound sweet."For being a GM"

Thanks for the info

I've got a dual timing chain......one of top 3 in my book, close to Jesel and gear drive. Gear drives are awesome - they sound cool too!

No problem... 5.0L Fords don't have a knock sensor.

Thumbs up

I have the Pete Jackson "quiet" gear drive on mine. It was easy to install, I just had to grind on the back of the timing cover a little.
