Gear Question
 

I have a `94 GT mustang coupe

i had a new rear end put into my car when i FIRST got it (1 year ago) and im really not sure what gear set-up i have in my car....

but my question is this...for max performance (¼ mile and street racing) what should my gear set-up be and HOW can i find out what minee is w/o paying a lot of cash?

Nick,what you could do to check what gear you have is to jack up the back of the car (use jack stands for safety)put a line on the inside of the tire at the bottom now put a line on the dryshaft now with the car NOT RUNNING AND OUT OF GEAR spin the tire by hand 360 degrees and count the number of times the dryshaft spines,as far as what gear would be the best that dependes on the what you have done to you car.Tim
