Default Bullit suspension

Does anyone know the type(brand) of springs that were used on the Bullitt? The car is only .75" lower than a stock GT, but the only springs I can find (Steeda,Saleen,Tokico), lower ther car 1-2". I know the shocks and struts are Tokico, but I'm not sure of the part number. Anyone know that info either?

This setup is the way I would like to go, I don't want the car too low or too stiff. (Heh, eh, eh heh, I said stiff!)

Default springs

The bullitt springs were kinda of a joint effort in design with steeda, at least thats what a steeda rep told me. The kit lowered mine about 1" in front and 3/4" inback way better feeling ride the spring rates are pretty similar compared to the steeda sports( 625lbs/front and 225lbs/back I think). Like you I didn't want the slammed look, just better handling and slightly lowered, but still have the musclecar look to it, not rice. You can get the springs from Gene Evans Ford, www.GEFRacing.com. I got mine on the stangnet GP even though the GP was over. They only had like 15 sets( springs and shocks struts) and said that once those soldout they would have to raise their price because ford raised it. My set was like 340.00ish to my door.

Question

Did you have to do anything else to the suspension? camber/caster? control arms?

Question not for sure yet

Everyone else that used this set up(springs) had enough caster camber for a street alignment. The really low springs are when you need the cc plates or when you autoX the cc plates are really helpful. I still haven't gotten mine aligned yet so I'll know then if I have enough caster camber, I should be OK though.
