General engine mods
Hi All,
I am a new member and hope that you can guide me in the right direction. I have some questions regarding heads on a 5.0. Currently I have only cold air intake and full exhaust on the car. I just purchased a Professional products intake and 70mm TB. I want to pick up some heads and plan on running some NOS (75-125) till the bottom end goes. Has anyone ran the Tri Star Cylinder Head Inc custom 5.0 heads? If so, what did you think. Also, are there threads that have gone over best mods for the 5.0? Thanks. |

Re: General engine mods
Heads like AFR, TFS, Edelbrock, etc.. have all performed well. However I am not sure about the latest "knock off" type heads.
I think you might be suprised how much these engines can take. I sprayed 150 through a 200,000 mile 302 for a couple years. It never failed, and only used a little oil.
