need help with a stroked 351
just wondering if anyone knows the part number on a distributor for my car i'm building up a stroked 351 and all i lack is the distributor for it. i had a msd distributor in my 302 but i had some bad luck with it so if anyone would have a part number or know of a good brand to get any help would be appreciated. thanks for ur time

Well MSD makes probably the most popular Hi Performance distributor out there, so your problems were likely just a fluke. I doubt you'd have them again. There are lots of ways you can go ... all the way back to a stock distributor. Just look up the distributor you need for a 351 in any catalog ... the stroker part makes no difference. Just make sure you get the right gear on it ... if you have a roller cam with a steel drive gear then you have to run a matching gear on the distributor.
