Can you guys say overkill? Why would anyone pull a whole custom exhaust job on a cavalier for like 400$ just to make noise? Try this. JC Whitney and other places sell exhaust cutouts. Basically have a muffler shop weld it in and it is switchable from muffled to absolutley no muffling(loud as heck) 20 bucks maybe plus install charge

Do NOT buy JC Whitney's cutouts whatever you do. I have had first-hand experience with them and I returned them the very next day. On th inside, the flap does not seal properly which would cause annoying leaks when you want your exhaust muffled. Also, these cutouts are manually-operated and require much work by drilling in the firewall and mounting the cable. Yes it's cheaper, but very poor quality.
