Default Going to JUNK YARD NOW! NEED VERIFICATION OF ALTERNATOR FIRST ASAP!!

I need to know if the 130 amp alternator i am looking for can be off a 94 T-bird 3. 8 liter. The guy said it was the same as the one for a 94-95 mustang as well as some other cars. Is this the right alternator????? Thanks. I can get it for 50 bucks!

Autosol worked for me!
My alternator is actually from a 1998 3.8 V6 (at least according to the tag that was on it.) Works great, stereo and all accessories on and I have 13.9V still.

i just wanted to be sure that the installation would be the same as having the 3G alternator of a 94 mustang gt car. i think they are identical alternators.

any ideas on how to clean this thing? I hope it works!

The only difference between different 3G alternators is some have a threaded hole, some don't and clocking. Just depends on what vehicle it came of off originally. I have yet to find a clocking that won't work and as far as the threaded hole I usually tap it out and put in a new bolt but others have just used a nut and bolt through the hole which ever way they both work fine.

PS i don't know what cars came with which options so i am couldn't tell you which would have what.

Should work. My alternator from a 92 SC t-bird is actually a 110A alternator but that's plenty. Bolted in easily and I now have 14.1 @idle with an electric fan, A/C, decent stereo, etc. Just make sure to add a 4 guage wire from the B+ post to the + of the battery or the starter solenoid (a 150A fuse is probably a good idea too).
