Got a clean slate to work with.

I am pretty damn pumped to say the least. I got my girlfriend to get rid of the Honda and I bought a 94GT stang that has no motor or tranny. It was a 5 speed car so thats a plus.

You know how you do some mods to your stang and then a year later you say if I had to do it all over again I would do this or that different. I would like to hear some opinions on what the optimal mods would be coming from past experience.

I have a few parts laying around that I would like to use on this project.

Good stock 302 short block
F cam
Aluminum flywheel
3.73 gears
A9L ecu

I have no experience with the 94-95 5.0's wiring. I would like to wire in an A9L ecu. If anyone knows how please help:D

I have some ported E7's but really dont want to use them. I am thinking GT40's cause this car is heavy and I would like plenty of low end torque. This car will be a daily driver and never see the strip.

I was also wanting to go with a 6 speed. Are they a direct fit or no?

Thanks,

My 2 cents on heads. For the money on a daily driver, look for a set of Windsor Sr. heads from Dart. Big bang, low buck, iron head that'll do a good job for ya.
