Question Grinding

Anyone know why my t5 is grinding when i put it in reverse? Sometimes it will only grind a little and needs a little nudge to push it into reverse... a few times it feels like tearing up my tranny cuz it GRINDS hard. any ideas?
Man, I am not feeling a rebuild right now... i just put the silly thing in.
Peace
